For Canada Day, we want to acknowledge our unhonoured history and stand in solidarity with the Indigenous Peoples of this land and their communities.

As non-Indigenous Canadians, we recognize and wish to bring awareness to the injustices that these communities continue to face. Especially as we strive for inclusivity for everyone.

By wearing orange, it represents the “Every Child Matters” movement, which honours the countless Indigenous children whose lives were taken from them through the Residential School system.
